No Resumption Fee
The Ministry rejected a message directing newly recruited staff to pay a non-refundable ₦50,000 administrative fee. It said the purported instruction had not been issued by any Ministry office or official.

Advice to Applicants
The release stated that applicants and new staff are not required to pay administrative, processing or resumption fees during recruitment and onboarding. Recipients were advised to withhold payment and personal or financial information, and report the scheme to law enforcement or the Ministry’s official channels.
